Some of the referees could do with reading them.See previous replies. The ball wasn't in play.
The laws of the game are readily accessible on the FA website, folks.

I hope and pray that you are rightWe won't mess up now, no chance.
I thought we defended well, even in the 2nd half. Ferna can do a great job for us, don't forget he played a few games last year for us.
All the more important we convert chances when they come, like yesterday but obviously we need to make sure we are tight at the back. For the West Ham game I would put Rodri at CB and Ferna in midfield as they can be quite physical.
dont feed him on raz
Spot on but not sure about the username!Fantastic performance from City
De Bruyne was at his brilliant best. To suggest he is over the hill and should be replaced by Ward Prowse like someone did in the embarrassing post Madrid thread is stupid and disrespectful. I agree with spitty, in that he is our best ever player
Both fullbacks were superb and posed a huge threat to Newcastle
Nice to see Sterling get two goals. I worry though that his body language after he scored means he is leaving in the summer.
I thought Grealish had a better game ,but he must look to make runs into the box , like Sterling and Foden do
The fifth goal was a thing of beauty. Lovely back heel by Foden
I'm really concerned about our lack of fit centrebacks. It would be intolerable if we lost the league at the last to them cunts
Why is his arse at the front?Ha ha yeh, I've noticed all City fans are skinny Adonis types, snigger
Fancy having your ars× on back to front;-)Ha ha yeh, I've noticed all City fans are skinny Adonis types, snigger
You must have put that on as I was typing;-)Why is his arse the front?
I remember the mickeys getting giddy when they won the *league.Full quote from Pep
Pep Guardiola: It is natural that everyone supports Liverpool, as they have a great history behind them in European competitions, but not in the Premier League, because they have won the league once in the last thirty years
hahahaha

Could Pogbad be signed on the basis that he only gets paid if he plays?i'd take pogba on a free but no way would he be on the same as our top earners, he'd have to do a season first to prove his worth
I've not watched it back but IF Attwell blew for the corner to be taken I'd argue the ball would be deemed as in-play and if we fucked about taking it we could be booked for time wasting?Holding an opponent
Referees are reminded to make an early intervention and to deal firmly with
holding offences, especially inside the penalty area at corner kicks and free
kicks. To deal with these situations:
• the referee must warn any player holding an opponent before the ball
is in play
• caution the player if the holding continues before the ball is in play
• award a direct free kick or penalty kick and caution the player if it
happens once the ball is in play
That is a very valid point.Slippy wants to be the next Dipper manager after Klopp, he’ll be out to show he’s capable
I hope that as many teams as possible can give us a game (except the 2 sky clubs). As a Toon fan I " probably " speak for a lot of Toon fans. All we want is to get to a position where can play you and be competitive. Our games are uncompetitive and we have no chance of winning. IF we can buy quality - four or five quality players - over the next couple of transfer windows then maybe we can give you a game. Not going to mention your spending power because it's been done to death and frankly boring none the less, at least our owners can enable us to compete. Your football is fantastic to watch, and for many of us watching it's not jealousy, I for one think your great to watch, but even for you guys there is only 5 or 6 teams who can give you a game, we hope to be one of them
Is that Jimmy ten bellies...certainly bigger than most of us

It just feels like a 1,000 years when Murphy is talkingI remember the mickeys getting giddy when they won the *league.
How they were going to dominate for the next 1,000 years or so.
(At least Danny Murphy was convinced!)
Funny how things turn out...
Win 2 and draw 1.Not sure I've understood you correctly, but if we win our last 3 then goal difference won't matter at all.
Is the correct answer. Being an ex-ref and actually doing this, nothing wrong with the ref blowing to start play, watch the infringement and then give a pen, especially if its persistent infringement.Ball was dead so whilst a yellow or red card could be issued a penalty can't, basic LOTG
So if a player makes a run into the penalty area at a corner/throw, in anticipation of the corner/throw being taken quickly and is held a direct free or penalty cannot be given.Holding an opponent
