This is what Romero is for.
Frenkie was outstanding at Ajax, at Barcelona I only see glimpses of his former self. He turned City down then to be a Barcelona player, if City comes calling again for him and he turns them down again and this time for United, then the is something wrong with that boy's head! It’d be a huge shame if he wasted more years than he already has by going to utd. Hopefully his next move sees him go somewhere he’ll be competing on the big stage.
Oh do fuck offUnfortunately great signing for United.
With their new manager & possibly Darwin Nunez, they should compete for the league next season.
They can’t manufacture an interest from the player though. See: Rob DawsonSo they're leaking to the press on purpose. Start a bidding war by clubs interested to ramp up his price as much as possible
I would imagine Barca would be very interested in Sterling and vise versa, seems a perfect deal for everyone involved and it could release cash/wages for Nkunku.Romero advances what Barcelona wants. And they wanted something after the Rob Dawson story
I think a swap deal Sterling + cash for De Jong could work. Xavi clearly wants as many players with PL experience in his teamI would imagine Barca would be very interested in Sterling and vise versa, seems a perfect deal for everyone involved and it could release cash/wages for Nkunku.
There have been reports that they’re interested in Sterling, Bernardo and Jesus and paying attention to their situations. The swap would obviously also involve cash in Sterling’s case. His wages are lower than FDJ’s. I think it’s an idea the club should definitely try to workDon't think they're interested in Sterling, his wages are a problem and they could get him on a free after a year.
Yes Gus, however Bernardo and Jesus would be better options for them as both are on less wages than Sterling and can't see Sterling getting anywhere near his final year income with them. Personally I would be very happy if the swap involved him. There have been reports that they’re interested in Sterling, Bernardo and Jesus and paying attention to their situations. A swap involving Bernardo would require serious money coming the other way which they wouldn’t want. I suppose yes, Jesus could be involved in a swap - I’d certainly prefer him there than at an English club. But maybe Xavi prefers SterlingYes Gus, however Bernardo and Jesus would be better options for them as both are on less wages than Sterling and can't see Sterling getting anywhere near his final year income with them. They need to sellThe way Barca are setting this up, doesn't feel to me like a deal city will do. At best they're trying to bump up the price, at worst they have no intention to sell and are pulling us along.
Good to hear. I just don't see us getting involved in an auction, which seems to be what Barca want. If it's €75m and he wants to come then fantastic, but I see them potentially hawking him out to all in an attempt to get a few more euros. Txiki doesn't usually go for that. They need to sell
They seem to have a number established. There is no auction if the player doesn’t want to join certain teams…Good to hear.
