This is completely untrue.

Gun crime has gone down in every single country in the world that has banned the sale of firearms.

THe idea that there's good guys who should have guns and bad guys who shouldn't have guns would be embarassing coming from a 9 year old. Everyone is a good guy with a gun until they commit a crime, and then it's too late.

This is an exaggeration. Plenty of people in America have nothing to do with guns and think those that make it a way of life are nutters. The majority of American households do not own guns.

One stat from 2017 says that about just 3% of Americans own over 122 Million guns. Between a 3rd and a half of the total # of privately owned guns in the USA.

But I agree with you that banning guns is not going to happen. There are just too many guns for that to work without dozens of Waco style gunfights.

I can tell you for a fact that more than 3% of Florida residents own a gun. And in most cases I know of way more than one gun.
