I keep on reading about bottle or our poor
Mentality. Honestly i think the fans that say this are bang out of order and have no idea what these lads are doing for our club. Look at Eric and Fernandinho yesterday. Blatantly not fit and could easily have sacked yesterday off but carried on. Same for Walker who put himself through hell against Madrid and is desperate to play next week.

We lose in the champs league in the most gut wrenching way and we go and beat two decent teams but 10 goals. We lose against spurs to a last minute goal after getting back into it the follow that up by a tough away at Everton and win. Wining back to back titles is hard and here we are again with our fate in our own hands. Bear in mind we have no proper forward and no orthodox left back.
They could have rolled over yesterday at two down but battled back at a very tough away day to grab a draw when really we should have won.

So no this lot aren’t bottlers or anything of the sort. Yes we may lose this weekend but if we do they haven’t bottled it, sometimes you lose football matches. Shit happens.

Re the red, are you referring to the foul on KDB from the through ball? I was thinking that myself, why on earth would that be just a yellow
Yeah this is the one, I haven't been able to watch it back, but at the time it looked at least like he was clear in on goal and the player made no attempt for the ball, I don't know how coufal survived that, I can only assume they used the "another player could of made the space up" line for the reason not to send him.

This deserves a love, spot on mate. So proud of this team. The likes of Sutton can go to hell for calling us serial chokers.

For everyone who is saying we could have relaxed on Sunday if we'd won yesterday, that wasn't necessarily the case. If Liverpool put a hatful past Southampton (not that difficult to imagine) then we could still have lost the league if we lost to Villa and the GD swung enough with Liverpool's game against Wolves. Would still have been nervy if Villa scored the first goal on Sunday.

Just win the game, lads!

We should a penalty taker worth 100million. Why can't man city get a penalty trainer?

So just so I'm clear you're suggesting we start the penultimate game of the season away at a club needing points for european qualification and fielding the biggest beast in the premier league alongside one of the in-form players with a defence consisting of a half fit Laporte and either 3 academy players or two academy players and a half fit Ake?

And that a half fit Ake (who I'm a big fan of by the way, think he's the best actual defender we have when fit) is 100 times better than Fernandinho?

I'm not even going to challenge your opinion on Zinchenko as obviously you don't believe he has a place at this club

Yep, I said this before the game too. They were always gonna go the long ball counter attack route, if even i know that surely the coaching should know that? You are meant to pick defenders best suited to nullify the opposition, ferna failed in almost any aspect of being a defender - constantly broke shape look at the first goal - decides to fucking run out and head the ball back to WH player (falls on his arse at the same time) then that player seconds later gets a assist from creating a 2v3. 2nd goal - Zinchenko lets his man run freely whilst he himself is jogging, absolute shambolic. At least with Walker when he loses concentration his pace and strength makes up for it,

My god, you are saying exactly the same thing as @Daz-Simp in the Villa game thread. People are even telling you to pack it in. Someone else expresses exactly the same opinion as yourself in this thread, that we don't have the bottle or the energy to win on Sunday, and you're accusing them of not being a City fan. You're a parody of yourself.

EDIT: Here's your quote from the other thread, before you go quietly deleting it and pretending you never said anything of the sort.
I never delete and i stand by everything , your comprehension is shite , i read all posts and he stands out , off you go child

He injured himself even more against Madrid but Walker's commitment should never be doubted.
Some say commitment, some say madness
For me personally I would just go for it
It’s a premier league title and if your out for 8 weeks then so be it, sit with your medal round neck for 8 weeks watching premier league years 21/22.
If we can get walker Ake Laporte and cancelo playing it would be ideal

Ur last resort should be academy players, not makeshift midfielders who aren’t even the best players when it comes to their natural position let alone converting them to defenders. I don’t want to hear bullshit excuses "they are not ready" if not now when? Do they magically become ready when they are 27? Zinchenko providing to the attack lol? He’s slow and weak. Can he do anything Josh Wilson can’t? Ake was fit enough to be on the bench. Even if he could only play 20 mins and start that would be 100x better than ferna.
You’re talking about sacrificing players in battle when the war is more important, Walker Stones & Dias may of been ok to play the last three games if they hadn’t put their bodies on the line at an important stage of the season, I’d hazard a guess all three where playing through the pain barrier & aggravated pre-existing injuries (willingly) Ake much the same but he hasn’t been called upon as much, mainly in the hope we get him somewhere near a decent level fitness wise. It will all come out in the wash I suppose. Zinchenko has trained with this squad, under Peps tutelage for 5-6 years, no way does a young lad get in in front of him, the way people have responded to him & Riyad gives more cause to Pep not throwing a young lad in

You are basically saying you know more than pep does!
You clearly know nothing. This isn’t Fifa 22
You don’t put a youngster in to a game like this and hang them out to dry. If they get sent off or make a mistake they will never recover.
You trust the players that got you there
How many games have you seen Josh Wilson play?

Let’s not all forget, we had 2 very clear penalties, neither of which were given by the on field referee, the ref was a disgrace, how is he a professional ref he if doesn’t give either of those? Are ref’s now bottling decisions as they know they’ll be checked by VAR?

To some extent we went for it yesterday. Fernandinho and Laporte looked some way short of normal fitness. The issue isn’t really whether players are prepared to take risks to play, it’s whether they can play to the required standard.

I think we all know what narrative the institution and media want... They want a title race all the way in which LiVARpool wins it... Referees have been very nice to Liverpool and disgraceful towards City for half the season. The bias is clear as day and we could potentially lose the league to it. VAR hasn't helped anything rather made it easier to cheat.

Hm, ceaseless negativity in the week before a big game?
