Gundo is leaving, Sterling won't sign the deal we've offered and may jump at the chance of joining them. We've shown an interest in FDJ and the valuations seem about right, so it would seem to make sense all round.

nah, I’d rather keep raz one of the older heads about and if very different for the other wingers/ wide players we have at the minute. But if Raheem won't sign a new contract and this is one of the clubs that he'd go to, it would be in the club's best interests to move him so we get someting in return rather than let him leave for nothing.

In addition, to support your hypothesis, Khaldoon said last year, that due to the lack of money in the industry, we'd have to be 'cuter' (i think that was the phrase) at bringing players in.

I think they’ll give him to Xmas or post World Cup. If he’s not clicked with Haaland the WC should bump the price and they can take it then with 6 months to go rather than nothing.
