Not if its true he's a racist c#ntCucurella is a natural left back/wingback, he can also fill in as a centre back, great move by us if true.

He turned down Wolves where he would have been a starter and played more for them, but he wouldn't have won anything with them. Zinchenko is happy enough to be a squad player whether we sign a specialist LB or not and I think we'll keep him as cover. I hope we keep him.Well yeah it depends on if Zinchenko wants more gametime or not, and with these fullback-rumors flairing up it could mean he's looking to depart for his own sake.
that was 2+ years ago tho? Surely with age he'd want more for his career after winning almost all titles? Cucurella links aren't coming out of nowhere, surely, and Zinchenko doesn't fit the quaility of out midfield. He turned down Wolves where he would have been a starter and played more for them, but he wouldn't have won anything with them. He's getting full support from the club, players, manager and fans with what's going on in his own countrythat was 2+ years ago tho? Irrelevant? He'd get that anywhere? He's getting full support from the club, players, manager and fans with what's going on in his own country
Can't see Zin wanting a move
Yes i know. But leaving us for anyone else is a downward step. And if Zinchenko leaves because we sign Cucurella(or another LB) and he gets injured, what then?that was 2+ years ago tho? Surely with age he'd want more for his career after winning almost all titles? Cucurella links aren't coming out of nowhere, surely, and Zinchenko doesn't fit the quaility of out midfield.
So we should have three leftbacks? no sense. We have NO idea if he's "happy" where he is...? Again, there fullback rumors aren't just coming from the fact that Mendy is in jail.Yes i know. But leaving us for anyone else is a downward step. And if Zinchenko leaves because we sign Cucurella(or another LB) and he gets injured, what then?
We need cover for all positions and competent squad players happy to deputise aren't easy to find and keep happy playing second fiddle. Zinchenko is happy here and a very good squad player to call upon when needed.
Is that his daughter? No? Old dirty bastard, good for himwow No wonder he’s called Mr Whippy for a good reason beside football .Congrats
Posted this in the other thread. I was reminded of this now, and it doesn’t seem an acceptable signing. Last summer many here also didn’t agree to the signing of Griezmann over a racist incident (frankly less significant than this one)
Cancello isn't a LB. Mendy will hopefully never play for us again. So we should have three leftbacks? no sense. We have NO idea if he's "happy" where he is...? Again, there fullback rumors aren't just coming from the fact that Mendy is in jail.
It's also no shock that players would want to progress their own career and become important elsewhere.
Cancello isn't a LB.
Cancelo is our permanent start leftback and it's just time too accept that... At least until Walker leaves. So yes, he is Mendys replacement per definition.Cancello isn't a LB. Mendy will hopefully never play for us again.
Tell you what, why don't you ask Zinchenko if he's happy here?
I mean you cannot go around saying he's happy here with zero knowledge of it
I think, for both player and clubs sake, we should perhaps look to move him on
Difference was, I was saying "perhaps" as it means "im guessing", haha! You're doing exactly the same thing when you say this:
There's far more information to suggest that he's happy here than there is to suggest keeping him will be problematic for either the player or the club.
It's just guesswork.
Cancelo was signed as a RB backup for Walker. I think Laporte broke Dias/Stones partnership through threatening to leave if he wasn't an automatic starter. I doubt Pep told him he would be but Laporte has played a lot more than he probably would have done since spitting his dummy out.A lot of people will disagree with this but it's precisely Cancelo at left back which broke apart the Dias/ Stones partnership from last season.
Plus, Cancelo on the left has been nowhere near as effective recently as it was earlier in the season.
Causes issues further forward too. As he cuts inside, Grealish has to hug the touchline.A lot of people will disagree with this but it's precisely Cancelo at left back which broke apart the Dias/ Stones partnership from last season.

LOGICAL GUESSING
I don't think you've been a blue 5 minutes judging by what you're saying pal.Cancelo is our permanent start leftback and it's just time too accept that... At least until Walker leaves. So yes, he is Mendys replacement per definition.
I mean you cannot go around saying he's happy here with zero knowledge of it... for all we know he's also looking for a more important role elsewhere, just waiting to ask for a move when the season is up. Im basing my evidence on the actual left-back links that have been coming up...
I think, for both player and clubs sake, we should perhaps look to move him on if a player like Cucurella is up for grabs.
So, just because my views and opinions doesn't totally align with yours, ive not been a city fan for "more than 5 min". That's fair.I don't think you've been a blue 5 minutes judging by what you're saying pal.
Have you seen Zinchenko being interviewed, on the training pitch or at a game? He Exudes happiness and plays with his heart in his sleeve, it's there for all to see.
I've been fairly straight forward that i prefer Cucurell tho? Im not pretending to do anything and have been pretty clear on that i'm deduction this by me guessing, logicially. No idea why people are so defensive in here, as it is a formum based on opinions, no?It's called deduction.
And it's pretty easy to deduce that Zinchenko would never be an issue for the club. He's a model professional, has loved being here and so far hasn't had an issue with playing second fiddle to others in the squad.
You can call it "logical guessing" as much as you want but your prediction essentially boils down to you guessing that he'll want to leave because we've been linked with a player who plays the same position.
You can just say you'd prefer to move him on, rather than pretending you're using logic to predict why a player will have a sudden total change of mindset.
