It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Said it before and I'll say it again.

This fanbase does not deserve Raheem Sterling.

Pulled us out of the fire again by creating the first goal out of nothing.

And all he gets is shit for not celebrating enough. It's not even true.

Oh and he didn't go mental when he scored to make it 5-0 against Wolves, when he was pissed with himself for missing a sitter earlier on. Shoot the bastard.

How many times does he have to prove himself?

He's our best winger. When he plays on that right hand side we look 10x better.

Pep should sit down with him and promise him that right wing spot. Get him to sign that new deal. But for some reason he prefers Mahrez.

I don't get it, and I never will.
Maybe he just simply wants to try pastures new.

That's because Mahrez has been one of our best performers the last 2 years and is our most effective CL player. Since we have pretensions for the CL, the most logical thing is keeping one of the most consistent players in knockout play. I would also add Gundogan to that.

U had ur chance Kane, should have put a transfer request

It doesn't matter on what he do, the absolute obstacle is Levy being bellend as usual. But it works on our favour in the end.

The rest of the league can say "fuck Levy" because he make Haaland to City transfer possible, he will get the blame for it lol.

In terms of pure numbers, we currently have 19 in our squad plus Foden and Palmer. Foden is club produced and Palmer will be under 21 still.

Leaves us with space for 2, Alvarez and Haaland. Fernandinho and most likely Jesus are leaving for space for 2 more. Based on rumours Cucurella and Philips are the most likely.

Only way anyone else arrives will be if someone leaves be it Gundogan, Sterling of Mahrez.

With Leeds staying up I think it's safe to say that Phillips is staying.

GK: Eddie, Steffan, Carson
RB: Walker
CB: Dias, Ruben, Stones, Ake
LB: Cancelo, Zinch
CM: Rodri, KDB, Bernardo, Gundogan
WG: Raz, Mahrez, Foden, Grealish, Palmer
CF: Haaland, Alvarez, Gabby

One or two of Gabby, Raz and Mahrez will go this summer....so we're short at CM & RB especially, and arguably if we do lose two of the three out of contract attackers we may be an attacker short (although I'm happy to give Palmer his shot)

With a World Cup coming up, would playing for City improve his chances of being there? Delph played midfield for England but left back for us. I think Southgate tries to emulate us a little so any English players at City already have a head start.
