Shooting towards the south stand second half

Its been going on for over a decade. I thought it was because we come out of the tunnel nearest to the family stand so start most matches in that half, shooting towards the south stand first half

No, we scored twice at South stand in first half.
I was in the family stand that day and I seem to remember we missed a few at that end which would have put us well ahead. I will have to dig a video out and see why I thought that. One time we changed ends atfter tossing up I think it had something to do with sn ex rag trying mind games. But I could be wrong again ;-)

When Sterling was mising all those chances in was definitely south stand end, and so were United's goals, so he's right.

Think I will go and have a lie down. Like Kev my brain is a bit scrambled this last 22 hours ;-)

How come 99% of the time we always shoot towards the family stand in the 2nd half?

If it was a coin toss, surely it would alternate more often?
The usual is a full city end for city and away fans for the away team so regardless of who wins the toss that’s usually going be the selection.

Surely they don't still do a coin toss for the ends? pretty sure other clubs around the league always shoot towards the same ends at their grounds too, can't imagine the same end has been picked every game here for about four years in a row haha

We regularly switch Liverpool around at Anfield, including this season, so it's a little bit silly to label Gerrard small time for advising his players to do that.
It is a bit daft with wind and sunlight, especially in early kick offs you don't want your 'keeper blinded and you do what's best for the team to win.

Most side stay at the end they have warmed up on unless they need to change to gain an advantage.

Have said previously it took Grealish out of the game. No way he would come on in front of those hateful fans second half.

From what I can remember,it was only Newcastle at home (when the chips ran out) where we kicked towards the North stand in the first half, during the 2011-2012 season.
