And there's nothing wrong with the way it is.Probably when the opposition manager/captain was small time enough to make us switch ends.
The club did trial it for a few games, but they reverted back, for whatever reason.

That's right, we all just politely applauded in the North Stand. The goal celebrations were better being at that end, absolute carnage after the second and third goals.
Not having a go mate, its more to do with the safe standing areas, fans don't have to worry about falling over the seats. That's right, we all just politely applauded in the North Stand.
Don't know if it was the last time (think a domestic cup game this season?) But I do remember Harry the Twitcher at Portsmouth using that plan....in a 6-0 win for us.Can't remember the last time this happened. Good point.
last time it happened we didn't win. Can't remember the last time this happened. Good point.
Probably instructions from slippyAnybody know if Fernandinho chose to swap ends or was it the Villa captain?
No it didn't. Peps already said he recognised the need to have players down their natural flanks because all the space was outside, that's why zinchenko was on with cancelo switched, that's why sterling came on the right for mahrez, and then gundogan comes on because he's the most likely to get in the box and score. Grealish would have just come back into traffic as mahrez was doing but on the other flank that's why he didn't come on.Have said previously it took Grealish out of the game. No way he would come on in front of those hateful fans second half.
Liverpool 99 times out 100 will attack the Kop 2nd halfIt’s kind of a professional courtesy that if you win the coin toss or not, you let the home team choose ends. But Steven Gerard is a Scouser
Agree with some of your points, so when do you think Grealish will get a game? and why did Villa change ends they have never done that before? No it didn't. Shut upNo it isn’t.
I thought we turned them around at Villa Park but just checked and we didn’t. So just pure fuckwittery from Slippy.Agree with some of your points, so when do you think Grealish will get a game? and why did Villa change ends they have never done that before?
We do it to them at Anfield sometimes.Shut up
makes sense as otherwise more would switch it.I once read a long time ago, that it was a gentleman's agreement that the home team chooses which way they want to kick.
Haha init, we’re always doing it to them at anfield including this seasonWe do it to them at Anfield sometimes.
