Side note I didn't see him yesterday on the parade
News I got was him and Gaby had family matters to attend to.Side note I didn't see him yesterday on the parade
would snap their hand off for £50m. Have to consider his wages being off the books tooReal want Sterling for £50m add another £25 and your getting close.
To be honest I didn't realise he had only a year left for some reason I thought he had two.would snap their hand off for £50m. Have to consider his wages being off the books too
Hard part isn’t selling it’s getting adequate replacements, at least one, for both. Players needs to have pace, energy and top level 1v1As much as i would like to keep both Sterling and Gabbie, i see them both moving on. Sterling has always seemed to fancy a move to Madrid. 100 million for the pair should do.
Good for them, like they are an example how to run a club, let's see how we go, what will be will be.PSG didn't accept 150m for Mbappe with 1 yr left.
Online anyone can create a link. Why don't you make one up?Where have the Real Madrid links come from?
If he was to go £50 mill would be a minimum, would rather he extended though.would snap their hand off for £50m. Have to consider his wages being off the books too
Using one example from a season is not why we should keep a player. He’s a good lad Raz but his heart is clearly not at City, time to go and hope he does well wherever he ends up. On Sunday he was not enamoured at the Trophy celebration and he didn’t even turn up at the parade last night. Hopefully we get around 30m for him and his wages are freed up. He was offered a contact extension a couple of years ago, refused it and it’s noted he’s been less effective since. If you look carefully at the first goal on Sunday, you can see why we should be keeping Sterling. Digne is no slouch and has a yard and a half on Sterling and is defending on his stronger side. Within two strides, however, Sterling has canceled that and turned it into a yard and a half advantage for himself. If you watch the same goal from the other side of the pitch, you can see that Sterling is not even looking at the touchline when he makes his move; he sells Digne with his eyes and then explodes away from him in two steps. We just don't have anyone else in the team who can move a team like that, and it's that pace and ability to stretch a team out wide that we'll need if Haaland's potential is to be exploited.
He's been less effective because we adopted a system that didn't play to his strengths, but if he chooses to move, then fair enough. I just think the system is about to change again, and what Sterling has will be of greater value. We have still never found a solution to the pace that Sane could bring on the left, and if Sterling goes, we'll have the same problem on the right. Going to be an interesting summer.Using one example from a season is not why we should keep a player. Wouldn’t want to face Real Madrid next year if they had Vinicius on the left and Sterling on the right.I think Sterling is a goner this summer, most likely overseas. If he does go Id wish him well as hes given great service to the club and helped us win a shed load of pots. His greatest talent - always being available! His durability has been insane.
I think some forget we have Palmer on his way into the squad, class player who imo is ready. We should wish Raheem all the very best should he go but I am absolutely excited by the prospect of Alvarez and the emergence of Cole Palmer.
he has the skills, my only concern is how quiet he seems personality wise on the pitch. I suspect its just youth and nothing more.I think some forget we have Palmer on his way into the squad, class player who imo is ready.
