Raised everyone's game when he came on. Catalyst for the win imo
One word I am thinking for his introduction was impetus.

He wanted to get on the ball, be positive and go after their defence. He actually, dare I say it, played a lot like Liverpool do out of the traps. High energy and a motivation to get a goal.

Can't fault the guy's attitude. Is he as gifted as Kev, or Phil, or Bernie, Raheem or Riyad? Of course he isn't. But his introduction yesterday was a catalyst. Watching Rodri's goal again today, with the emotion of yesterday having subsided, it was a fantastic bit of skill by Zinch to set it up. An outrageous, exaggerated stepover, but it left his opponent (Cash?) for dead. And those scenes after the presentation, with him weeping as the Ukrainian flag was draped on the PL trophy would get to anyone's heart.

Jim, I've watched him play for his country a few times, and he has a lot more skill than we often get to see from him, I suspect that is because he's under orders from Pep to be more conservative, and you don't get into Pep's team, if you don't do what you are told.

He's not a full back, he's a midfielder, and good at attacking, I wonder with Fern going if we might see him transform into this at City now ?

Never watched him play for his country, so I'll bow to your greater knowledge C. I suppose he might get to fill that role as a squad midfielder now that Fern has gone.
