I understand the historical element of maroon on an away kit
The "Brother" striped shirt from around 1987/88 I thought was a thing of beauty and I bought the shirt of the all maroon kit from the following year
Home shirt should be sky or oxford blue and white. Yes dark blue sponsor and numbers, but leave the maroon off the home shirts
As I said, I really don't get/understand maroon on a home shirt

127 years old aren't we and for five or six we've had maroon numbers!
It's the equivalent of saying, home kit sky blue shorts is "traditional"

I'm not dismissing the fact that maroon has been a colour associated with our club, but maroon on the home kit just doesn't sit right

I like the Puma kits we've had, but there is no way I'm taking this over the first Umbro home shirt.

The badge in the middle of a throwback style shirt is a great touch.

Had Puma just left their badge off the chest and on the sleeves, it would be an absolute 10/10. But I'll take a 9.5
