Solo was very much a missed opportunity, would have been nice to see the old books Han Solo's Revenge, Han Solo at Star's End and Han Solo and the lost legacy. These would have made a decent pre ANH trilogy.

Watched a fan edit of Episode 1 over the weekend and I can't work out if i have mellowed over the years or the edit made the film better. However the thought of Anakin getting groomed by a royal peadophile popped into my head and i went back to thinking Disney fucked it up

I remember reading those Han Solo books many, many years ago.

Isn’t that classic Star Wars at this point? There’s always an adorable character to sell merch and there’s always a character that makes you bleed from the ears because they’re so badly acted.
 
Kenobi is the last chance saloon for Disney's ownership of Star Wars. Everything they've done has been shite, apart from Rogue One.

10 yr olds tend to be annoying tbf, it kind of add depth and back story to her reaction to bens name drop by luke during her rescue in a new hope, plus unfortunately as it is when both kids are young, we are gonna get annoying kids, hopefully he drops her off and then goes hunting for vader.

To me episode 2 felt like a filler episode. You know the kind of episode tv episode that stretches out an event to add tension when it could have been shortened and still been effective. Given the show is only 6 episodes long I find it strange they felt the need to do this

I desperately want this show to be a success, I am one of those kids that grew up with the prequels so I adore those movies and I am delighted to see Ewan and Hayden back. My concern for this series was there wasn't a whole lot they could do dramatically given how Rots ends and ANH begins. Obi wan episode 2 kinda showed that. The whole escape from Daiyu could have been shortened and it would have been better, instead it was streched out with Obi wan struggling to keep up with a little girl.

Again I hope this succeeds, I want it to. I hope to God we get some really cool action scenes in future episodes

Bad Batch - Brilliant
Mandalorian (i was sceptical about this for the character) - Brilliant
Bobba Fett series - Brilliant (just needs less mando)
Kenobi so far is brilliant.
Final series of Star Wars clone wars - a brilliant way to end it.

I agree on Rogue One, great film, the andor series looks like it will be great tie in.
Ashoka series coming up looks like it will be a good one with both Maul and Vader being present.

Only disappointment to me, was the Solo film (it gets better towards the end) and the last 3 films in the main series
 
The Mandalorian is superb

Boba Fett is decent (better when Mando in it)

Kenobi has started ok,i can see why people would be disappointed in it so far, hopefully it will get better.
 
Andor looks superb. Cinematic and looks as thought they've invested a lot in the series.

On a rewatch Solo is ok, it suffered at the time becasue the it was so soon after that abomination the last jedi.

I actually have no issue with the revenge of the sith, of the films from that one to return of the jedi I don't mind any of them, 1&2 and 7-9 are utter dross though.
