I expect we’d have only been missing Dias if we’d have been playing tonight

however I honestly think only having the PL go for focussed our minds and helped us to claw back the points v West Ham and Villa

maybe we wouldn’t have managed that if we’d have had a CL final to distract us. We could have been playing the dippers tonight as our only chance of silverware and to stop them doing a quadruple.

Still can't help feeling that we should be there this evening. Madrid barely laid a glove on us in 90 minutes in the Bernabeu. But a suicidal 5 minutes did for us (last sunday in reverse, if you like). If one of those Grealish chances had gone in (and I'm not playing the blame game, before anyone starts).....

We weren't looking fresh either. The dips would of pressed us like crazy like they had done in the first half in Cup semi final.

Fully fit Walker and we would have won that game.

it was initially coz the team used to get leaked out anyway pretty regularly.

So the past couple of months - this is done regularly - usually it used to be 2 hours before

today its 2.5 hours early !

As pep put it after the villa game. It moments - last 5 minutes vs madrid , 5 minutes vs villa when we scored 3 .

Score one ( or concede one vs madrid) - and the momentum shifts

The Italian suspects there is a mole in his camp leaking team news so also published his starting eleven two hours early for the semi-final clash with Manchester City.

Ancelotti has named the same team which beat City 3-1 after extra-time with Gareth Bale on the bench for what could be his final Real Madrid game.
 
If Liverpool get anything like the chances we got against Madrid they'll win by 3 clear.
