Regardless of anything else he cannot possibly be totally in the dark about their history, and recent events like rioting in their OWN city after WINNING the title during covid, and bricking City's coach.

He should be hit with a massive punishment for his statement, it's as reckless as Trump's was for the Capitol Hill riot. The real tragedy is nothing will be done, except a ban on English football if anything happens again, as UEFA will see this as a great way to get City kicked out.

Having a parade on the anniversary of the Heysel disaster is absolutely disgraceful, particularly when they haven't actually won the CL final and have no real reason for it, and especially when we got criticised for just cheering during the minutes' silence at Wembley recently. One rule for them, another for everybody else as usual.
 
I hope the DWP are watching the wall to wall coverage of innocent scousers being interviewed in Paris.

Would ANY of that above happened if there were just ticket holders at the game? Ie like RM fans? Of course it wouldn't.

But even now, Klopp is whipping that fanbase up into a frenzy talking about buying next year's final tickets.

And the media, scared of Hillsborough references and desperate for clicks, turn a blind eye to it.

Heysel was roughly the same attitude with the lead up to that game. These fuckers WILL get us named from Europe in future.

I know when we were shit under Pearce we went about 5 months without scoring but for the bestest team in the world ever (with the bestest ever strikers) to play over five & a half hours of cup final football without scoring must be some sort of record :-)
 
It’s hilarious reading some of this shite today - folk have watched , maybe , a video or two or to be generous three all of which are 20- 30 seconds long and again let’s be generous 44 seconds and those fit the narrative they want to hear and they make these deluded comments - you sad fuckers - we dodged a bullet not going to Oatis and that is a fact - the dippers aren’t angels abut with the so called ‘welcome ‘ parties they didn’t have a chance - the blues would have got the same sadly - the French are shit organisation - they are renowned for it

What will actually happen is we'll be involved in a little scuffle somewhere or a couple of flares let off, UEFA will say "enough is enough" and WE will get the blame for it.

Sort of like when the ref lets the first half dozen fouls go then books the player who commits the next one, even though the previous ones were committed by the other side.
