I think what he meant to say is that the best team doesn't always win - on that I would agree with him.

However trying to argue that they're the best team in Europe after losing the competition to determine the best team was fucking idiotic.

I don't really watch other sports, is it just football that has terrible pundits?

No.....but they are the worst by several country miles.
 
After the Villa game my wife asked if I could find a channel with Owen on it so she could laugh at his miserable face.
I said no.
