To be fair, the majority of fans in the country, let alone the top four would call that a good season, but as we all know, this means more (or less).

It’s convenient that all this drama about what happened outside the ground, has shielded the club from a poor performance during the final. Indeed they looked poor for the final month or so of the season. There is no analysis on how the devastating end to the season may cause contagion into the next campaign. It’s all just quietly forgotten about.
