I've just started this on HBO. Watched the first 3 episodes and really enjoying it.
Very similar pacing to the Wire and quite a few actors from said series in very different roles (the guy who played Marlo Stanfield is a cop for example).
I'd read a few reviews moaning about the timeline being all over the place but I think it's pretty easy to follow.

This would be bizarre if you ever watched 'The Wire', which I'm assuming you haven't, so therefore I can understand the 'slow' aspect.

Ironically, 'We Own This City' moves along quite briskly compared to others.

To be fair, I understand different mindsets when it comes to TV. I like to think I'm open-minded to action or drama as long as it's written well.

This is so shyte! It's, virtually, unwatchable stuff written by 12 year olds forced to have no lunch! I understand the 'Star Wars' fantasy lore, but come the fuck on!

And what the fuck has happened to Deborah Chow's directing since 'The Mandalorian'??
