The Conservative Party

Absolute piss-take. Fuel suppliers having us off while the Chancellor brings in maximum revenue from taxes.

We have no choice to pay it while those with shares reap the benefit, Chancellor and government get their own windfall.

Well done Chancellor, you’ve just fucked us all, again!

Authoritarian?

no a beard - at some point he will recognise he was appointed as a headline grabber to give the illusion she/they were acting on borders - she doesn't speak to the guy she appointed to deal with borders whilst the number crossing the channel .... meanwhile the Dalek is happy with this.........

This is the worse government i have ever seen, and I’ve supported them prior to this shower.

Emergency Northern Ireland question. Asked about the legal advice taken all Cleverly could say was "We've taken legal advice and cannot tell you."

A member of a the NI committee said they had not been spoken to about this legal advice and asked him to make it available to the committee.

"We've taken legal advice and cannot tell you."

The member followed up by saying they were told off the record by one of the lawyers, the legal question asked was "Convoluted and not framed correctly."

"We've taken legal advice and cannot tell you."

Can anyone else see another Clusterfuck coming?

Not being a Tory voter I dont have a greatly informed position but it seems to me, with the paucity of in-party alternatives to Johnson, that a growing no-confidence movement would do well to champion Rory Stewart back into the frame and re-introduce him into the Conservative Party? i dunno. He has the miliatry background, love of the UK etc that many will want, but did vote Remain (however campaigned for a moderate deal thereafter).

At the end of the day i want them out of power, but just ruminating.

This clusterfuck will be swept under the carpet alongside all the other clusterfucks.

Not sure what he'd be like at PMQ's, can't recall him in such a position but Rory Steward has always come across as sensible. Compared to the current mob he looks like he belongs to a completely different party.

Imagine him on one side (whoever is in power) and someone like David Miliband on the other.
Not suggesting things would be vastly different for us but the country would look like adults where back at the helm.

Really looking forward to seeing how this works. Apparently one of the big problems they're working on is that you can't claim housing benefit if you have over £16k in savings. Having worked for a while as a Citizens Advice Bureau manager, I can happily inform them that having savings is not an issue most benefit claimants have to deal with.

Still, some clever journalist will no doubt be along to remind everyone that so long as you give up your morning Starbucks, and ten takeaways a week, then you'll have saved up for a house in no time.

The really sad part about this is that they are serious.

No Conservative seats in NI, standing up to the beastly EU, cheerleading from the Express/Mail.

Seems to tick all the boxes.
