I remember they wanted Zaidu before he went to Porto but didnt have the money. They must be confident they do now!Brighton in advanced negotiations with Porto for their left back.

Which means Cucu must be closer to that 40-50 mark.25 to 30 million the rumoured fee they'd have to pay for the Porto left back.
Unless Chelsea have moved for him

All numbers. Benham at Brentford and Bloom at Brighton have the same business model.Brighton have a great eye for a player. Just read they were in advanced talks for Darwin Nunez 2 years ago but Benfica came in at the last minute.
But weren't we all excited at the time? This summers arrivals may even rival this one

When I was much much younger I remember disliking Wayne Biggins so much I contacted the club to ask if he was ever leaving. I got a reply too it said…put it this way, he has played his last game for City! But weren't we all excited at the time?
There was a time we’d have settled for Christopher Biggins !When I was much much younger I remember disliking Wayne Biggins so muchI contacted the club to ask if he was ever leaving. I got a reply too it said…put it this way, he has played his last game for City!
Does anyone remember his ‘trick’ of stopping a ball from leaving the field of play on the line and then waiting for a forward to come and tackle him. He always seemed to win the resultant block tackle, the forward would stumble off the pitch and he would come away with the ball. He is the only player I have seen do this. Mind you the resulting pass would be a massive hoof to nobody in particular.Brian gayle ...shiversss!:))
Some posters are adamant there's no itks here :)Thanks mate. Just a couple of posters I needed to remind myself of ;)
