When I was much much younger I remember disliking Wayne Biggins so much I contacted the club to ask if he was ever leaving. I got a reply too it said…put it this way, he has played his last game for City!

Does anyone remember his ‘trick’ of stopping a ball from leaving the field of play on the line and then waiting for a forward to come and tackle him. He always seemed to win the resultant block tackle, the forward would stumble off the pitch and he would come away with the ball. He is the only player I have seen do this. Mind you the resulting pass would be a massive hoof to nobody in particular.
