If we bring in Phillips as Fernandinho's replacement, that's 20, but obviously he'll be coming as less of a bit part player than Fern.

The only other incoming likely at the moment appears to be Cucurella, and I assume Zinchenko would leave if he arrived.

I would be surprised if one attacker doesn't leave this Summer.

so its not a 16 man squad?

We are not in a position to lose £100m of player for free. Do you think Pep wanted to sell Sane? If they don't sign a contract we will look to offload them that is 100% certain.

Jesus should sit tight for another season at least. Sign a new improved contract. If he is so sought after then plenty of clubs will still be after him next summer. Also, why should he leave? If anything we could be doing with losing an attacking midfielder now Haaland will be mostly be starting. It’s got to be Mahrez or sterling that makes way.

or maybe he wishes to really start his family in London? I know him and his family were always making trips there over the years. Possible he likes the hustle and bustle of a major city. Who Knows, really.. still holding on to a little bit of hope that Pep and Txiki can convince him to stay.
