I may be a bit thick (I know!!) But exactly what is their complaints about their owners? Their recruitment and wage structure is amongst the highest in the league, ok they are not successful due to lack to direction but that is not the owners fault. What more do they want?
I'd say the lack of direction is entirely the owners' fault. They're the owners, so if they're not supplying the direction, who should be? They moved Gill upstairs, let Woody run everything (into the ground), didn't have the balls to tell Ferguson to cut his ties, backed their managers with money but sacked them if they didn't win anything right away.

They keep peddling the crap that the Glazers are taking money out of the club that’s probably correct, but by fuck they’ve spent huge amounts as well, they need to be careful what they wish for as they could get new owners eventually who could end up taking even more out of the club. The crying over the glazers is a distraction tactic, how much money do they want to spend just keep throwing money around till they win something, even that’s not guaranteed…

Tw@tter reports that Van Gaal told Jurrien Timber if he signed for that lot, he wouldnt be going to the world cup because he wouldn't be playing every week

Just watched the videos

The CEO basically saying the DOF needs to “get on with it”

Not a good start for the cultural reset

They are on the brink now. Either the new regime stops the rot PDQ or they sink a lot further.
To rebuild the squad and the stadium might take up to £2bn. Can’t see the Glazers being sanguine about that. Might be forced to sell. The Delicious irony if a mega rich Arab buys them.
What are the odds for Newcastle finishing above the rags?

I bet their shareholders are really happy with that briefing to supporters. Totally unprofessional
Unprofessional maybe, but the absolute truth which no one has been prepared to admit to and no one has been prepared to publish.
For that i applaud him, what happened happened on Woodward's watch which is now over.
What he didn't admit to is whether or not Ferguson is still allowed a say in what goes on.

If they don't qualify for the 2023/24 CL, meaning two consecutive seasons out of it, the clauses affecting sponsorship and financial covenants kick in. That could mean having significantly less to spend.

Added to that, if they really are planning to borrow a significant sum to redevelop OT, or even rebuild it, that will attract interest as rates are going up. The lenders could see them as a bigger potential risk due to the loss of revenue outlined above, which could mean paying higher rates. If they double their current debt, that could mean an additional £50m a year going out and unless they expand OT significantly, they won't make that back. They'd probably need to expand it to over 100k to even make a decent dent in that sort of outgoing. And the worse they get, the less chance they have of filling those seats.

This is very much a tipping point season for them potentially.

The difference between us & them at the moment is we have people in charge who are willing to make the difficult calls.

As difficult it was seeing Sergio in a Barca shirt, it was the correct buisness decision. Similar senerio saying no to Messi when Barca were forced to get rid & not paying Ronaldo 500k+ a week just because we needed a striker.

The Glazers have used a similar tactic in the Nfl by signing Brady & Gronk but have won the superbowl.

If they get off to a bumpy start when the new season starts the panic will really set in. A few defeats and a couple of dull, boring 0-0 draws will have the knives out for ten-bob, almost guaranteed. Then they'll probably bring in Potch who will dismantle everything his predecessor had done and they will be back to square one. The only solution then would be to re-sign Pogbad for £4 million, pay him a weekly wage of £950 thousand and then sink into the Championship and spend the rest of their existence narrowly avoiding relegation. And I will die and go to Heaven with the biggest fuck off sneer ever witnessed on my drink-ravaged face.
