Felix has been brilliant for Atletico this season won their player of the year award played multiple positions and was one of the most deadliest wingers in la liga Stat wise. But Mendes has been offering him around. Felix would have more assists as well if it weren't for a out of form Suarez

Massively underachieved from Benfica though, shows how good an agent Mino was when you compare this kid to Haalands trajectory.
Plus the beautiful thing with Felix, he can easily be played at 10, which we can rest KdB or if KdB is injured . Which warrants no drop off in our creativity, intensity and progressive movement and goal scroring tally. This would honestly look scary!

Mendes viewed this kid as his new Ronaldo and given the kid has never performed at Atletico or in the national team, Mendes realizes time is running out for him, and another season at Atletico could see his stock tumble drastically.
He is a massive project, that has no guarantee he will ever develop, He's already on crazy money at Atletico, Even if he slashed 100K of the weekly wage, it would still be a ton of money for a player who hasn't proved anything, there are better deals out there.
