Not sure it is where test cricket is going. Only England are trying to play like this.

It will work occasionally, but will lose more games than it wins in the long run.

Maybe but the more we keep playing this way the more the players will get the feel when to go when to slow stop or go all out! Personally rather see this than the dross under the last coach..

Yeah, he took a calculated risk and it didn’t pay off.

I suspect that Stokes and McCullum may just see this as a free hit. Sort of, “let's play the new-style way and see where it takes us” (might take us to an innings defeat, gulp!)
