Im sure all the Barca family silver is for sale but can they really sell all their long term assets for short term gain - it’s a risky strategy. The deals they have already done will come back to bite them. Who's replace him? Personally, I'd take Matheus Nunes. Not a like for like. But I like his battle ram style of all energy ( a bit of Yaya Toure in him too).

Sadly the Viera kid that went to Arsenal might have been the best comp. But I like changing up the characteristics of the replacement player. Gives us a different edge.

I think you are right…. They’ve done a bad deal out of desperation but recovering it later will be difficult because the other party will take what they can out of the deal…. For Barcelona it could be the equivalent of signing away part of your house in an equity release scheme - a few months before a housing boom…. You‘ll lose out but there is nothing you can do about it.
