Serge Gnabry

Bringing academy players through should be a want and not a need.

If we have to rely on Palmer to fill the RW spot even if he's not elite level yet, then we've made a mistake somewhere. Like I said, I think a lot rests on how much we feel Foden can play RW. If he can, we're good. If not, we should buy.

I don’t agree with that at all. Palmer is more then good enough and we have to give him a clear pathway into the first team. How could it be a mistake to give one of the best young players in England a chance? Pep clearly disagrees with you.

There’s an obsession with buying players all the time when we have one who costs nothing

There’s a difference between giving him a chance and relying on him.

It‘s the age old issue of needing experience to win things vs giving people that experience in order for them to win things.

If united claimed they had one of the best young players in England, based on a handful of games at best. We’d laugh our tits off

Left wide berth - grealish, foden, berny, zivchenko, mcatee
Riggt wide berth - mahrez, foden, alvarez, palmer, kayky, berny, mcatee.

We don't need cover for the wide areas

We have 2 experienced players for both sides and youth to learn and come through buying gnabry is not a necessary purchase.

If it happens so be it, but if it doesn't it isn't a major loss.

He failed, now he's failed again. Move on we won't re sign him because he's a failure. Quite simple
no mate you're just shockingly mistaken. I don't know what he's done for bayern but he's been a huge success for city while he was here. YPOTY in 17/18, 7 major trophies, 37 goals and 46 assists in effectively 3 seasons at the club. you're delusional don't know what else to tell you.

Failed

I thought he just left...I don't recall there being any talk of "failure" at that time...just some sadness that he had suffered a serious injury and was pining for a return to Germany...your repeating he failed over and over does nothing to change the fact that he had mostly shined here and at a very young age...either you're a big revisionist like Samuel said or you just don't like the guy for whatever reason so you're going to keep breaking balls...
