I imagine if City want him it'll be well on the way by next week. Players do need a holiday and time with their families etc.

It's a pretty penny, all told. Truth is, business-wise, Txixi (and Ferran?)'s played a blinder during this window. All it now needs to complete a superb summer is to get this lad. If we get him I'd argue we've had the best window of any club in the PL.
He is back training with Brighton and has been for a few weeks now I believe mate. I imagine city will want it done by the time we are due to fly to America. Not actually sure when that is tbhI imagine if City want him it'll be well on the way by next week. Players do need a holiday and time with their families etc.

2 weeks today the tour starts though I suppose they would fly out a bit before.

We will get Cucurella, City and Brighton remain in discussions so their is obviously a deal to be done otherwise we would have walked away weeks ago. They'll eventually come to an agreement.The good thing is, there’s nothing coming out of Brighton publicly that Cuckoo isn’t for sale at any price.

Brighton like us like to keep their transfer cards close to their chest. For all we know the deal may be may already be in place. I don't think Brighton fans will be too chuffed but at least they'll make good money on him. There was a time we were a selling club and nobody gave a rats arse when we had to sell our best players, we(blues) just accepted it.LOL losing their player of the season is amazing for Brighton, they must be overjoyed.
