Wouldn't trust him an inch. Would expect he either uses it as a few months to let shit peter out, then announce some BS like 'things have changed, and the country needs me to stay on and finish the job' (of wrecking us all for his selfish greedy ends).

Or use it to push through as much nefarious shit as he can with his cronies like mogg, in the next few months.

said as much earlier - he is delaying hoping to change the narrative - the Tories who don't support him need to signal support of an opposition VONC along with the 1922 getting their shit together and a new committee calling him to book using their internal mechanisms. Beyond that someone needs to tell him when he goes to the Queen to say he can assemble a govt when he can't she will say NO but if he wants to break convention and draw a frail 96 year old Monarch into politics he will be hated forever

The fact that the Mail and Express still publish the shite that they do is a good indication that a significant proportion of the population are still in the Johnson cult.
 
Say what you like about the **** he was a **** who could win a massive majority for the Tories but was such a **** he couldn't ( checks sp in case it should be another **** ) make it last for 3 years - why? Because he was a ****...............my interview was cut from Newsnight no idea why lol

What it means re: cons and labour chances at next election are currently irrelevant for me; i feel this would not be a bad idea for the country right now.
I'll give her her due, she at least tried to bring some semblance of integrity and sanity to the momentum-driven shit show she stepped into.

He has to go and go now. The government is paralysed whilst he is still PM and whatever it takes from all parties and MP’s to get him gone immediately is fine by me.

The can has been kicked down the road yesterday, that’s all that has happened and it is simply not acceptable given the way he lost the confidence of almost all his own party and of course all of the opposition.
