£30m + Delap?
I can't see him getting into the team for a number of seasons with Haaland and Alvarez. I guess we could put him on the bench but I don't think it's fair on his development.
I'm sure Brighton would look after him better if it's a sale rather than a loan option and Delap would appreciate the opportunity to play regularly under a good coach in Potter.
Thanks FabrizioAs far as I am aware Brighton are awaiting an offer for Marc Cucurella , they are asking for around 55-60 million euros as Romano reported. I am hearing they want a similar price tag to the one they received for Ben White from Arsenal.
Cucurella is the priority for City before any centre-backs. Brighton are in talks over a new contract but it is at a preliminary stage and the same thing happened with both Grealish and Phillips , i am taking it as a good sign.
Brighton's board seem willing to sell with Bloom and now Barber [CEO] saying they are realistic and will see what happens. If they recieve an offer that meets their valuation, they will not turn it down.
He is contracted until 2026 , so we will have a pay a substantial fee for his signature.
Just summarising what I have heard from different sources. Take it as you wishThanks Fabrizio
Come here, there's moreSoon. Could. Expected. I wish I had chosen this career path. Just need a catchphrase to rival “here we go” maybe “this is it!” Or “ It’sssssssssss Transfer Time!” I think I like the latter.
I thought we conducted our transfers in pound sterling.Just summarising what I have heard from different sources. Take it as you wish

If Zinc wants to leave and thats the important bit as he's got a young family & looks settled. It would be sad to see him go but playing for Potter at Brighton would suit him & he would be able to play in his natural positionHe's also a bit short to handle long high balls pumped up field if he's being put under pressure by a fairly burly opposition attacking player. We've seen him in difficulty more than once in that scenario.
Do I need to add that I'm a Zin fan and I kind of agree with your last statement. I just think that we do now need an accredited full back. There is a problem with your last statement, because the question then arises, where is Zin played? Midfield? He's a midfielder, a genuine one, you can see it by the quality of the balls he plays in from the left touchline, but we happen to have the best club midfield in the world. That's been the problem all along. I honestly don't think Zin should settle for early rounds of the League Cup and F.A. Cup, and crumbs off the table of occasional PL games. He's too good for that.
It's a conundrum. I like the guy so much, and he's such an honest character, that I'm now almost at the point where I'd rather see him playing in his genuine position at another club (a good one, obviously, and not Liverpool or United) and fulfilling himself as a footballer.
It said 'they are asking for around 55-60 million euros as Romano reported'. It's from his post, he mentioned that fee.I thought we conducted our transfers in pound sterling.
No it’s done in Raheem SterlingI thought we conducted our transfers in pound sterling.
Pretty much what it was - just sharing an overview of where the transfer is sitting.A summary of twitter.

But the media don't. €60m will become £60m in their clickbait revenue chasing eyesI thought we conducted our transfers in pound sterling.
Booooooo! No it’s done in Raheem Sterling
All good points.Do they even want Delap?, i mean they have their own striker. Why the need to send him there when Brighton doesn't even want him.
Yeah Delap is talented young striker with a lot of potential, but they rather have an experienced striker than gambling with youth.
The only scenario where they accepted Delap as part of Cucurella bid is not including buyback option on him so they can wholly owned the player without fearing that City will buy him back cheaply and soon after few years if he become a world class.
I just don't see why you are linking a bid to the sale of Sterling. I am sure we would be able to finance this even if he was staying. Very much the other way round if this is happening Brighton need to get business done first.
Inserting *joke over your head-gif*
Don’t forget the wages :-)I think we will do £50m including add ons on this so that he can be on the tour next weekend.
