If we were that desperate to sign Cucurella, we would of asked Bloom his price & paId up. We are not desperate for a leftback as we have Cancelo who was one of our best players last season & We also have Ake who can cover there, what we are more likely trying to do is improve the quality of the options that Pep has.
 
One thing i dont understand with some supporters when you support a team l8ke Brighton u have to be realistic as to where u stans in the pyramid. We find a player hes wanted by a bigger club we NEGOTIATE a deal that works for all parties, hopefully that is what is going on behind the scenes that we are not aware off. Some fans act if its there own money. No doubt when Brighton buy a player from a club lower down in the league and offer a below their valuation offer that club gets pissed off. Unfortunatly City are in a no win situation, you bid low and fans say City trying to bully then and unsettle the player, go in high and pay askung price and its City stupid ruening football with all the money they have.

Until Brighton become a club challenging for PL,CL abd domestic cup year on year we will only be a stepping stone for players to fulfil ther ambition.

Never let any club know you’re desperate to sign their player.
It removes any chance of negotiations.
Txiki is much much too clever to do that.
And as you say there’s no way we’re desperate.
Let the fuckers sweat and reduce their asking price once they have an unhappy player on their hands.

hahaha i know, the way they go on about him you'd think we're trying to steal away a living legend, he's only been there one season!

Either get a different LB or give them £45m (3 times what they paid for him less than a year ago) on Monday, so we can shut this thread down and they can jog on!

You can keep Bloom, a Brighton fan.

Debt.

A mid table finish season after season.

Short cup runs with no cups.

Finding a decent player every now and again, and knowing Bloom will sell him eventually to another PL club. It doesn't have to be City.

And the knowledge and acceptance that the above will happen season after season and there's nothing you can do about it.

One day Sheikh Mansours Son's who are City fans will own City.
