I maintain he’s our 3rd best CB option. An extremely good one, but I prefer the calmness on the ball of Stones and Laporte. They send us up a level and they’re so good at playing out from the back that we don’t need to have Bernardo playing almost like an extra centre back.

Laporte is 2 levels below Dias in agression, organization, leadership and calmness. We had Laporte Stones for 2 seasons, and we sucked defensevely, it wasn't until Dias came we started having a good defense
