A draw would be a good result after seeing us play yesterday.
Abso-fucking-lutely not. We want to be getting off to a flying start, there has been some serious upheaval in the squad and the last thing we need is an indifferent start; momentum needs to be with us from day 1.

I'm confident we'll beat them, and comfortably.

I think we will either draw or lose this. Seemed rusty yesterday, plus we normally do start slow. Bowen against cancelo will be a battle

Seems we’ve come to our senses….the poll was at 52% win after the CS game. I think it will be tight but we should edge this one.

Edit: or drop bernardo back, take out Gundo and put Alvarez in the front 3

First time visiting The London Stadium for a match, last visited it to see Guns n Roses. What place is best for City fans before the game please?

Thanks

Hope Pep has them playing game after game in training next week as a lot of our players looked miles away from match fitness.

Alvarez has to start. Our fittest player at the moment as he already has half a season of football in his legs.

Foden looked very sharp when coming on yesterday so that will give Pep a nice headache deciding between him and Grealish.

I do wonder if we are better off playing this game with a little more caution than we are used to. Our decision making, fitness and overall play looks at least 3 or 4 games away from being in full stride and West Ham away is as tough as it gets in regards to away days outside of the top 6. West Ham already have 7 games in their legs.

3 points here would be in an immense start and we would be 2 points up on the reverse fixture from last season.

Anywhere in Central London, nothing close to the ground, allow 20 mins to walk from train or tube to the ground.

Really easy

Euston Square Metropolitan line to Liverpool street

Liverpool Street to Stratford

15 minute walk to the ground

If you go on the London Stadium website it gives you all the travel options if you click on the Getting Here link
Alternative central London option is easy walk from Euston to St Pancras (signposted), plenty of options at St P, The Betjeman Arms is a much more impressive place than the Spoon's at the other end or you've got the goods yard at immediately adjacent Kings Cross.
6 minutes to Stratford International from StP & as has been said on here, use tap in/out for much cheaper fare than a paper ticket.
