Grealish' finally ball is terrible
Rodri was absolutely outstanding
Haaland was what I expected. A true centre forward making the right move at the right time

Do not underestimate what an excellent win that was boys and girls. West ham are a very good and well organised side
Can’t remember Grealish giving the ball away mate. Totally different to Raheem

On today's performance, Haaland looks like he's been playing in the Premier League for years.

    • Mat: If Man City don't win the league this season, the team who win it can consider it as a miracle season for them.
Adam: Pep Guardiola with the easiest job in world football.
Ben: That's a performance from Haaland that'll erase much doubt about whether he can perform in this league.

Pep Guardiola improves footballers and he's going to improve Haaland. What I've seen today, wow. He can finish, great movement, he's aggressive. He's the complete package for me as a number nine.

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland speaking to Sky Sports: "It was good. [It was a] good start there is nothing much to say other than that and it was 2-0. Good to get some minutes in the legs early in the season and we have to keep going.
"As expected we saw the potential against Bayern [Munich in pre season] and it was a bit down against Liverpool. It will come with games, it should have been more today.
On if he could have scored more: “Yes. I should have been there [to connect with Ilkay Gundogan’s cross]. It’s about the connections we do every day in training and practicing so we get better and this will come.
“There were some good celebrations so I’m happy. Nice that he [Dad – Alfie] saw both goals as it is a big moment for me as a debutant in this competition.
“Also now it is almost 30 minutes since I scored the last goal so I have to keep going.”

Because it's a reasonable comparison. I like Raz too but the number of one on ones he missed was, well, lets be kind and just say not what you would expect from the class of player we want to have.
It's not a reasonable comparison at all. You can like him to Aguero who was an out and out striker.

Are people still worried about lack of pace post Sterling? What I thought ;)
On the first match back at the start of what is going to be a VERY long season, on what was obviously a hot day? No.

City looking scary. Moyes sets up his teams to defend and counter against the better ones. West Ham rarely saw the ball and lost 2-0 chasing shadows - playing at home.
