We've made more sales in this accounting year than any club has ever made. So the wealth isn't really irrelevant when you make circa £250 million sales and have plenty of money to spend. When you need a full back and you have the money...I assume most clubs would buy one. But yeh there's still time.

Last 4 seasons, he’s played 130 times in the PL, with 20 of those as substitute. Last season he played 35, with 2 of those as substitute, so I’m not sure how he’s not an integral part of the team?

He is,but i feel we could be getting more out of his ability.It often feels like he is shoehorned into a position instead of being the main man.

He would be one of the first names on every sheet for me.

Grealish isn't anything like Bernardo. Can't just swap him in like for like. Completely different players.

you do realize Pep want to him play midfield last season, it's just because Bernardo failed transfer that didn't happen sooner.

Didn't start Grealish in any of the bigger games last season (including the home Villa game). Started Bernardo Silva vs Liverpool in the Charity Shield game as Liverpool play the most intensive style.

De Jong's on £220k/week, we won't get someone like Paqueta on much less if we're buying him for €60m.

If they'd be on similar wages I think de Jong would be preferred. There's gotta be a reason why City would look to Paqueta. Maybe they just think he's a better fit?
