Marcelo is apparently not in the best condition

Just his clothes, he wears some horrendous baggy stuff that makes him looks massive. You can see on his IG hes not put much on.

Possibly but dont forget Cancelo can cover rb as can Stones, plus academy rb. Dias, Stones, Laporte, Ake, Phillips, Mbete can play CH. Cancelo, Ake, Josh even Laporte can play lb. Not saying dont buy another but I'd like to see academy players before to guage their level and to see how they cope.

But Zinchenko left because he didn’t want to be here
Plus he only played circa 15 games
He would be better than what we currently have

Seems like Cancelo and Walker is the starting pair, with JWE and Rico Lewis as the academy backups, which while not ideal, is good enough for now.

With the fullbacks inverting, I also wouldn't be surprised if Pep plays Phillips as a fullback.

that would be completely ridiculous from the club if we dont get a left back! Cancelo and Walker cant start every game and JWE and Lewis are too raw to be relied on week by week and champions league games etc if Walker or Cancelo get injured for a while?
