Bernardo Silva

They are
they aren't doing either of those things. They are spaffing their credit on a new merc in the garage and the latest 60inch QLED TV. And then saying they are going to buy a pony for the kids and a new speedboat.

The sooner that house of straw collapses the better for football.
Gambling on winning big trophies like the champions league that will boost their revenue to a level where they can afford the wages again with La liga rules.

The debt really isn't as much of an issue as people thing. Every large company in the world operates with a large debt/credit line.

To of been able to buy a “replacement” without spending any extra would of been the option but I’m surprised just how low a fee it is. Clubs will now know we are desperate and bump up those prices. “Yeh he was £25m yesterday but, we realised he is a decedent of Jesus so the price is now £71m sadly.. plus add ons”
But hey, that’ll show that lot at Brighton eh, I bet Bloom shits his pants if we sell Bernardo for £71m (club thinking not mine) that’ll teach them for trying to take the piss.
Meanwhile Barça butt fuck us dry again… Brilliant.
The ONLY way I see this making sense, if remotely true, is if we have done them a favour for their books and in return we get a player we are after at a silly low price too! But hey it’s Barça so that ain’t happening.

It still will affect his performance on the pitch, on the outside he can say to himself that he will give it all again but i doubt it will have the same effect like last season because it's been two times his wish to get move has been failed.
so it hasn't happened. The statement says 'Clearly the player in question doesn't give and focus 110% anymore for the club"

Wrong.

If we have agreed a fee we must have a replacement in the bag

It's either Lucas Paqueta or one of the player in the front will be moved into midfield. Bet it will be Grealish to play as primary Midfielder this season and we sign another forward.

It looks as though it's more about how much we will get for Bernardo rather than if he will go or not. Also as others have said, we may have agreed a fee with Bernardo last year, give us another year and if said figure is met you can go.

The fees for the 3 players who have already left are below the market value, but atleast 2 of them were on their final year of contract. It's important to get the right fee for Bernardo or else it will give the impression our players are always approachable and we'll give in for a modest fee.
God, I liked it when our key players never left us in their prime and rival fans had no explanation other than saying they were given extra payments under the table.

In a couple weeks.

Surely, Barcelona would not be That fucking cynical to try use a charity game, intended or a good cause, to try push their own transfer agenda!
At this point it's clear that Barcelona are dirty to the core and they would use any trick up their sleeves to get what they want, including a charity game(look at what they willing to do to get De Jong off their team or else bend to their will, with by the way, the contract they fucken gave him).

They are gaming the system and no one or no organization is doing shit about it or doing anything to stop them.

If we sell Bernado for £67-70M, then it's clear that we have fucken Barcelona sleeper agents in our team and heads must fucken roll!

Barcelona should pay for Bernado or fuck off. We are not Barcelona's charity case, and no, we don't want any installments for Bernado. Pay up or fuckk off.

I hope we are getting a considerable fee for that game, if we are playing for free, its utterly bizarre, especially the timing of it.
No fee will be paid for the game. Proceeds are going to a charity looking into ALS (aka as Motor Neuron Disease). I hope they’ve ensured the home side are taking nothing from it as well, but we’re big enough to support a very worthy cause.

I'm bored of the saga, love him as a player but no one is bigger than the club. He will be a loss but we will be OK still without him.

If Barca want him and he wants to go somewhere where he might not get paid his wages then make them pay the full fee upfront and make sure it's at market value.

Has to be paqueta, he's the only one we've reliably been linked with as a replacement and he wants to play in England. Lyons owner wants 60 million euros. Its a deal we could do
Is the guy decent enough? I haven't heard a sniff of him, in all honesty.

Just unfathomable why anyone would want to leave this team with Pep as manager and Haaland now upfront. Especially for a reason as flimsy as wanting to live in a nicer place. A footballers career is very short and I think he may look back and regret this one when he hangs his boots up.
