We have said the same thing for two seasons, players like Bernardo are not easy to find, a wonderful footballer , incredible work ethic and a superb man off the pitch, almost the perfect combination.Bernardo staying this season will give us the opportunity to search the market for a replacement. Finding a player who has an amazing work ethic, but also has a high level ot technical ability will not be easy.
They are doing it very cleverly, this notion that Barca are about to go bankrupt is utter nonsense, they have made some very good purchases, Barca are on their way back.A proportion of future profits , yes. Basically like remortgaging your house repayments for that come out of your future income. I’m not saying it was their best option, I don’t know what other options they had,. Whatever it’s not a corrupt option which was suggested in the the post I replied to.

But the whole issue of FFP is wrong at every level, football is a business and stopping investment in a business is wrong and should be illegal.Agree it is not corrupt, agree it isn't even wrong in any shape or form. But in the context of financial fair play, it is pretty brazenly unfair. But that's more an issue with FFP than it is with Barcelona in fairness.
I get that debt doesn't count and they can accumulate as much as they want to. But when scrutiny over 'market value' and sources is as big a deal as has been made out, how do you really put a value on future deals and markets. I get also that their issue is more with La Liga limits than Uefa ones.
While there is nothing technically wrong with what they are doing, it is very much against the spirit of the whole 'living within your means' thing that they themselves pushed for. I guess that's where they deserve kudos for being both cunningly astute enough to find a workaround, and having the balls to give zero fucks.

very, but it does not make it rightOf course. Just a little ironic though isn't it.
ya barca on their way back to being shit and living in the shadows of real madridThey are doing it very cleverly, this notion that Barca are about to go bankrupt is utter nonsense, they have made some very good purchases, Barca are on their way back.
In fairness, every club in world football lives in the shadow of Real Madridya barca on their way back to being shit and living in the shadows of real madrid
They're not about to go bankrupt - simply because they've effectively sold around 25% of their TV income for 25 years, and are potentially selling 50% of merchandise income shortly. They are doing it very cleverly, this notion that Barca are about to go bankrupt is utter nonsense, they have made some very good purchases, Barca are on their way back.
