I get it I truly do, but as has been stated many times, a players only worth what someone’s willing to pay. He’s not staying in the PL or he’s lied about he reasons to move, he’s not staying for the same reasoning so has to move. Issue is he wants Barça and they want him, now I’m sure it’ll be closer to €80m then €50m and I’m sure (I fucking hope) the club have a plan and assurances in place for new signings if he does go.

This is not charity and we aren't offloading the player, If we were in that case your statement is valid. This is a player with 3 years of contract left at city, he is an important player of the squad. If someone wants to buy him they have to pay whatever he is worth to us, not the other way around.
