He can't fail to have been touched by the rousing reception he received. He was his normal self on the pitch.
Yeah, was great to see a good serenading of a great player, well done to all in the ground who joined in, was a bit emotional tbh, last player off the pitch & gave his shirt away, hope it wasn’t a goodbye (he never waved anyway) thought the atmosphere was decent given the score line opposition & weather, a good day

Jeez, it was hot in the East Stand with the sun beating down. All we we were missing was pyrotechnics, flame throwers and smoke to heat us up some more and then make sure we couldnt see the first fifteen minutes of the game !!

At least they relaxed the no beer in seats rule.

That was a thoroughly professional performance againt a well drilled Bournemouth which actually defended quite well but didn’t show a lot of attacking ambition.

Haaland is a minster. He actually didn’t do to much today (I think his lay off to Gundo might have been his first touc) but you see his mere presence in the pitch unsettles the opposition. He is going to score a boatload this season but more importantly he will create space and opportunities for others to score.

We are looking very very good.

Glad we didn’t let Ake go, he’s turning into a vital member of the team. We cruise to 4-0, rags thrashed by the nighty Brentford. Good excuse for much beer this evening.

Looking lively at the start of the season.
Some great movement, passing and intensity early on into the season.
Happy days

Any news if Foden has a niggle or he was hooked by an angry Pep for being a greedy git ?

Great win by the lads. Great reception for Haaland, and Bernie when he came on. Had radio 2 on going home, sports bulletin at 6pm said scum beat Bournemouth 4-0. This happens too regularly to be accidental, am sure they do it because the know it winds up some blues. Thinking about it all the BBC are doing by trying to piss us off, is making them looke unprofessional and incompetent to fans of other clubs. BBC are a bunch of tossers.

Oh yeah, when the stadium announcer randomly went “and the score is now Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth”. You could feel everyone going ‘eh?’ Lol

Agree about the atmosphere. Can't see the club selling him this window so late in the day now. Really hope that is the case anyway.

Ake, Kev and Cancelo brillant today. Haaland was instrumental in the three first goals and that's more what I expect from his part in the team. Don't think we'll see him scoring bucketloads but he'll create so much space for the others we can see a new PL team score record this season I think.
And that goal from Kev, bloody hell... If he doesn't get that Ballon d'or it's a joke. No one even close to him being the absolute best footballer on the planet.
