He can't fail to have been touched by the rousing reception he received. He was his normal self on the pitch.
Yeah, was great to see a good serenading of a great player, well done to all in the ground who joined in, was a bit emotional tbh, last player off the pitch & gave his shirt away, hope it wasn’t a goodbye (he never waved anyway) thought the atmosphere was decent given the score line opposition & weather, a good day

Jeez, it was hot in the East Stand with the sun beating down. All we we were missing was pyrotechnics, flame throwers and smoke to heat us up some more and then make sure we couldnt see the first fifteen minutes of the game !!

At least they relaxed the no beer in seats rule.

That was a thoroughly professional performance againt a well drilled Bournemouth which actually defended quite well but didn’t show a lot of attacking ambition.

Haaland is a minster. He actually didn’t do to much today (I think his lay off to Gundo might have been his first touc) but you see his mere presence in the pitch unsettles the opposition. He is going to score a boatload this season but more importantly he will create space and opportunities for others to score.

We are looking very very good.

Glad we didn’t let Ake go, he’s turning into a vital member of the team. We cruise to 4-0, rags thrashed by the nighty Brentford. Good excuse for much beer this evening.
