Wolves seem to be trying to sell Neto who is another Mendes client? Is this how they are going to pay for Nunes I wonder and of course Mendes gets paid twice? Neto is an explosive player that would add some pace to our wide area?

Notice Brighton got their LB. He was mentioned as a possible replacement for Sosa, if he left Atletico. Seems like that whole saga is indeed over.

Still think we need at least one more player. 16 experienced outfielders + Gomez is three short of what's allowed, and way less than the other CL clubs. 3 Injuries during busy periods and we could be really struggling. I would imagine there is no way we would compete the Carabao unless things are perfect.

Maybe that is the plan. Maybe even thinking with a view to jetissoning the FA Cup at the first sign of trouble. Really, there's no way to know that City really are definitely finished for this summer. Maybe there is no safe way to sign anyone until Bernie's tied down. Possibly Pep, too. I wondered if his contract being up, and presumably the prospect of imminent/ongoing negotiations might affect things.

I’d hazard a guess that any availability would see a return to PSG, in keeping with his trajectory; I personally have reservations about his ceiling, more of a ‘when I can be arsed’ attitude resonates from him, just my opinion mind!

I think city saving money and spending less this summer could be due to two reasons -

1) They will wait till the world cup to find some talents , also the current squad players will demand more game time due to world cup so better to sign next summer . They may also buy in winter window.

2)Maybe they are preparing for pep's departure and want to save funds to back the new manager next summer .

No1, Are we the sort of club that signs a player due to a bit of good form in a tournament?

No2, He's going nowhere, relax and even if he were to leave, Txiki is in charge of recruitment so nothing would change.

so 17 outfield senior players that will be supplemented by palmer, wilson-esbrand and rico lewis. Do we think thats enough to go for all competitions and the world cup in the middle of the season? I think we need another midfielder to be honest and would have liked kabore back to back up walker as he has played alot of senior football for his age and seems extremely highly rated.

I agree. Definitely Everton’s best player and probably worth £50m in today’s transfer market. He’d have to cut out the cheating but other than that I see the attributes you refer to. I wouldn’t mind this happening and Jack moving further back.

The theatrics/cheating is annoying as fuck,it looks ingrained but it needs coaching out.

Paqueta is rumoured to be available for £35m as well which would be a steal for a player of that quality!

To be honest I'm really disappointed with City not spending 800 million on new players....We should have at least a squad of 200 players, with players like Mo Salah serving us beer and Benzema being a ball boy.
