Still think the priority should be someone with pace, having lost Sane; & now possibly Sterling & Jesus.Had his name mentioned to me only the other week, funnily enough.

ExactlyAye the club will go forward with losing Aguero, Torres, Jesus and Sterling, and bring in only Haaland and a young untested Alvarez. Yes that sounds just like our repsonsible and ambitious club that wants to challenge on all fronts, sure aye.
Good points - cheered me up as I didn’t really want Raz to go. But I believe the club know best!I appreciate what you are saying, but I have always maintained Sterling's pace is something of a myth.
In the first two yards, if he stands you up, then it's bye bye...
His advantage is mainly down to his clever runs without the ball.
However, if you are talking pace on the run over a number of yards, he can be caught by a few.
I'd imagine Haaland's true pace, certainly against any high line daft enough to try, will also create space for the lads on the outside.
WE sell Sterling I am 100% certain we will spend big on a top class replacement. We spent the entirety of last season missing a striker to replace Aguero. Haaland fills that gap. Alvarez replaces Jesus as a versatile forward player. Palmer, we were told in January, replaced Torres in the squad. Now we're being told he's replacing Sterling as well.
If we do choose not to replace Sterling (looks likely), we'll be losing an important dimension to our attack. I'm sure Pep will tweak things, but I'd like a bit of pace.
With Mahrez's age and contract situation, there's a ready made place for Palmer to take as his successor, (the same goes for Gundo and McAtee).
I really don't believe signing a new winger this summer would harm his development, especially with 5 subs and a ridiculous schedule. Don't forget he can play in midfield too.
Hope notHere a few we might go for if Sterling goes..
lewandowski
Felix
Neymar
Bowen
Bayern would declare WW3 if we pulled that one off.
I have to agree. I'm just speculating but I think if Klopp wanted Salah tied down long-term, it would be done. I get that FSG is the captain and not Klopp but I don't think they'd spend 85M on Nunez if they were unable to pay Salah his demands. There were signs last season that Salah was past his best, I think Liverpool would love to cash in on him this summer.
Just had a text saying not to believe the reports, this is far from done
Don't tell the Poles and Lewandowski!!Well Ze Germans are on a losing run already?
