Casemiro might actually be good for them, it’s like getting a 30 year old fern, he’ll sure up a lot of their fragility. I personally cannot understand what is going through casemiros head but I hope he doesn’t join them
i guess the £350k a week - doubling his present wage might have turned his head.

£70M for a 30 year old midfielder!!

Poor old United. How on earth can they compete with owners who won’t spend money?

Its just not fair.

PS : Don’t hear much lately about their philosophy of giving youth a chance. It’s almost like their panicking

They're going to panic buy Casemiro for £75m on a four year contract, talk him up as one of the best midfielders on the planet, stick Erikson and Bruno in front of him and Maguire behind him, and then wonder why he's not the player he was. Varane all over again. Fred is going to go somewhere else and look half decent. What a club. Love it.
What's £5m between friends.

When this £70 million “enforcer” gets the ball his options will still be the likes of Rashford Sancho, Fred, Martial and fellow oldie Ronaldo etc.

By the time he gets the ball he will have come through their academy, been a lifelong fan and playing for nothing. The 70 million will have been wiped from the picture completely.

He'll still have the likes of rashford etc as his options though

If it was a player moving from a 'smaller club', no European football etc... you'd understand it. However, you have to question the mentality of a player who has 'it all' at Madrid and picks United.

So obviously money orientated, when he's 35 years old he'll still be getting £300k+ a week, remember that when United a still in this mess 5 years down the line.

Does anyone know how many outfield players over 30 the rags have signed since Bacary became a Blue?

I would take anything he says with a pinch of salt.

It's wasn't that long ago he was getting giddy about Van De Beek. Claiming that the rags were getting an £80M player for £40M.

Look how that turned out.
