Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Pep Guardiola on his #ManCity future:

"After the World Cup we will talk. The best for the club, for me. When you play every three days, it's like eating spaghetti every day - at the right moment, I want to eat something else. Maybe take a break is good."

Doesn’t sound good! Although I do like spaghetti
 
Think when he goes it be better all around when he wants to leave to leave say after next season in the middle of a contract then they’ll be no speculation it be just he has left and we have someone already lined up..

Goes along the lines of previous comments.
Don't think he ever wanted to be part of the Qatar WC, but has mentioned he wants to try his hand at International coaching. The WC will result in vacancies of which, I imagine, he'll have his pick.
Unfortunately we will be looking for a new manager to be appointed in the summer

In regards to your last line, we won’t.
Whatever happens Pep will be our manager next season. Might be his last one but no way he leaves after this one.

Entitled to an opinion.
It's a suitable break point - his contract is up.
It also gives him 3 years before the next WC to build what he wants.
I'm sincerely hoping I'm wrong, but that's my view
 
After what he said in press conference, I think he's leaving at the end of the season... :( Nothing lasts forever....

I think/hope he meant the WC is the ‘break’

That completely contradicts something he said a short while ago.
 
I think this will be his last season at city, then he will take a year away from the game .
This season is going to be the toughest with many ups & downs.
We have got 3 centrehalves who are made of glass,which will cost us in the long run.
 
Doesn't makes sense, so many our player extending his contract and some of the new player motivation including Haaland joining us is because Pep.

I mean Haaland especially, half the reason (the other one joining boyhood club obviously) is because Pep and have been talking to him personally and invite him to join our Club. It doesn't makes sense that Pep only manage Haaland for a season, while Haaland expect he play many years under Pep.
