Players who might improve us

If Barcelona can’t register Kounde in 10 days, he can leave on a free. I know we’ve got enough depth at CB, but our defenders keep getting injuries, he can play RB and we were interested before Dias.

Plus it’d piss Barca and Chelsea off in one fell swoop.

I would do it in a heartbeat, but I'm sure Brokealona will finagle a way to get him registered.

Allan Saint-Maximin. What a player he is. Could turn any defence inside out. I love his aggression and always looking to attack. Too bad he signed an extension with oilcastle only two years ago.
I agree, but he wouldn't do what he does best In a City team because Pep would put the brakes on him to fit In with our style of play, he tends to coach parts of your game out of you and replace them with his own, look at Gabriel Jesus now his wings have been unclipped, he's playing like he was when he first signed for City, I think Pep needs to let the players off the leash sometimes and let them do what caught the eye In the first place.

There allowed we just don't get the space anymore.

I know its a joke but as a city fan I'm sick of the ridiculous names we get called due to our ownership so I don't like to see us jumping on the bandwagon because Newcastle are going down a similar route.
Again, it was probably a joke and said oilcastle as a piss take. No one with half a brain would embarrasse themselves even saying it

An old head at the back, a top class leader, like Kompany. I thought Dias would be the man but he's stalled since a stellar first season.
Stalled chappo? A little harsh, no?

Was still integral to the best defence last year, despite niggles, and only just starting his 3rd season…. I get the levels of season one to measure against but he is immense, even with a harsh analysis of season 2; no doubt the balance with stones, coupled with chemistry, was easier on the eye but John, unfortunately, we can’t build on given his poor injury record….Dias is the spine for me, and remains the first defender named when fit, a colossus for many years to come!

I hope so. At the moment Ake has been our best defender but another who now seems injury prone.

Totally agree..I do wonder if the constant rotation of players is the problem..I suspect injuries may be more common if you do not play on a regular basis..it is called muscle memory..training is not quite the same as playing on a regular basis.
