The good thing about the hundred is you can pick the winner after the first innings about 90% of the time and make money off it, men's and women's. Oh, and the Amstrad graphics!

Blackpool confirmed for the QF as expected. A year after the T20 QF at Taunton, and the UCL draw, and the other thing we don't talk about.

Well we going to have 5 days of good weather so let’s hope we don’t have a collapse again we need to make it at least competitive! Crawley still getting picked so we going to be 1 down for next to naught! Just think looking at the south Africa bowling we going to struggle to get to 250/300 so we going to have to rely on our bowling to win the games

I’ve got tickets for Sunday. Chances of it not being over by then? ;)

Lancs have been involved in a number of them, I've really enjoyed having live access to them on YouTube, not (intentionally - briefly saw some when it rained at the test match, but I was on a work call) watched a minute of the hundred.
I’ve watched quite a bit of the Hundred and don’t think it’s as bad as some make out. Some younger up and coming players are also getting a chance to show what they can do, but the issue for me is that it’s an extra tournament in an already crowded schedule.

I accept that times have moved on but the marginalisation of domestic one day cricket - not the T20 but the longer formats - over the past couple of decades or so is hugely disappointing. Back in the day you had the B&H Cup and the Nat West Trophy. Both great competitions and both culminating in a showpiece final at Lords with plenty of the games being shown live on terrestrial TV. Then there was the John Player Sunday League, and again there would be a game on live nearly every weekend. Now all we have is a single 50 over tournament and the final isn’t even at Lords anymore.

The only positive impact of the Hundred is that Lancs youngsters have flourished in the Royal London Cup.
We've seen Balders get his maiden ton and George Bell and Lavelle make vital runs. Lavelle is also a really good glove man and gives us an extra option as it looks like Salt might be away a fair bit with England's ODI side.
On the bowling front Blatherwick, when fit, has shown he is very decent.

That is why my son is going today. He reckons that the match will at the least extend to Friday.
