Glam beat Hants easily so the top spot is back on.

Lanky game in the balance, Essex likely to lose, Yorks to win.

Hants play Essex and Yorks last 2, so will be done a favour no matter what their results.

Just been at the Oval , Gloucester won by two wickets. Surrey were looking set for 370 or so ,only got 270. Great day though , lots of families lapping up the sun.

Kent get a 6 off the last ball to win with 6 needed, Stewart refusing runs to keep strike and beat Yorks.

Lancashire have at least 2nd so a home QF, or could get a home SF if they win their last game and Hants lose either to Essex /Yorks.

The Manchester Originals giving it some serious stick this evening against the Northern Superchargers. 94/0 off 35 deliveries. 9 4s and 7 6s so far. Salt 50 off 21 balls, and Evans with 44 off 16.

can't really feel any affinity for the teams like you can Lancashire
Nope, the 100 is just "noise" as far as I'm concerned, it's certainly not "Manchester" for me, it's not cricket I want to watch, the one day cup is traditional cricket, not missed a game I could watch (work stopped me a couple of times).

Are these hundred games being sold out or getting good crowds because all I have done is watched five or ten minutes then turned it over just can’t get into it!
I know a few who went to games last year (I refuse to go on principle) but haven't gone back this year or have just been to one game.
T20s get bigger crowds. If they'd played them in August OT would've been packed even for the likes of Leicestershire and Durham.

No, it seems to be dying a bit of a death. I’ve watched 4/5 games this time around and there’s been loads of empty seats each time across the country.

I watched the Vitality Blast and it was pretty much sold out every time.

Proper cricket fans are swerving the Hundred and I think the newbies they were targeting haven’t returned in numbers.

It doesn’t really work to produce close games like T20 does.

It’ll be gone within two years I reckon and they’ll look at doing something bigger with the county t20 format.

Agree be interesting the tv viewing figures and next years hundred if the crowds drop again they might sack it of but if they have half the stadium full it’s still making them money! So think it’s here to say..

I figured they brought it in to try and match the IPL… well it’s absolutely failed badly in trying to do that.

Last night's game at Leeds was typical of quite a lot of the Hundred matches. Team batting first scores 170+, second team loses early wickets and the game is over as a contest after 50 balls, despite a late slog occasionally making it look closer than it is. Not sure if any have been genuine thrillers, but of course the highlights package of sixes and great catches can make things look better than they are.

Despite lasting 4 days, some of the county matches I've listened to on local BBC (Glos v Northants for example) have ebbed and flowed through to the final session.

Lancs have been involved in a number of close finishes. Teams batting for a draw and Lancs bowlers having to get the final wickets with overs running out. It's a real examination of both batman and bowler. What skills have they got?
