The fact there’s players on our bench I’ve literally never heard of says a lot about how shallow our squad is though.

Name me one side that has the quality on the bench if Gundogan, Alvarez, Palmer, Gomez whilst having Grealish, Ake, Phillips and Laporte out injured.

Alverez, Palmer and Gomez are untested at this level.

There would usually be just one of two young recruits or academy lads on the bench to bring on when the game is won. Not the majority.

Pep doesn't even put our best eds /academy players on the bench. Gomes and Knight are both poor and haven't stood out at under 23 level

Yep, that Guardiola fella knows absolutely jack shit about whether a player’s good enough for the match day squad.
With all the experts giving their knowledge for free on this forum, why on earth do they pay him?
What is it that makes the club think that he knows what he’s doing - in what way is this man qualified / what has he ever achieved that puts him in a position of authority like that ;-D

Minus the International break we are playing a game every 3/4 days up to the world Cup and this is our depth. Every single one of the seniors is going to be run into the ground and at least 6 of them are injury prone. Poor planning.

Injuries are part of the game but we always seem to have a high number out. We we we’re struggling to put out a back 4 each week in the final months last season. Squad seems very light on numbers compared to our competition
