General transfer rumours

Well done Brighton and Potter, good business getting Gilmour so cheap looks a good player and with a proper coach will do well there

Think money has dried up and the son who took over may not have the same access to finance as his old man.

They do look garbage hopefully we play them soon to add to our plus GD!
His company King power is in trouble, I would say the club will be soon sold.

If Leicester put the club up for sale they’ll be plenty of Americans interested
Only Americans at moment with the boys networks and debt backed finance hubs willing to strip all assets in future years. If they have enough teams imagine if they moved the PL all across to the US!?

Also think Chelsea are just spending because they have given undertaking to spend that money. Once it’s gone landscape will look different.

Little (cough) thread ive done on the entire PL for the last 5 seasons with all their transfers sourced, visualised and booked.

You mean to say that City in the last 5 seasons have one of the lowest netspends in the PL? This should be fucking sent to every Media whenever they talk about Citys unlimited wealth and Budget. Well done Sir!

Yup! We've been incredibly frugal in the tranfer market in the last 5 seasons

Does this affect our sell on clause for Douglas Luiz if it goes through or is there a nominal value estimated for players in this case

"Juventus are preparing a straight swap deal for Aston Villa's 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz, with Italy striker Moise Kean, 22, going the other way"

Just googled "Douglas Luiz sell on clause"
All come up with something similar to this. This is from last week when there were talks of him possibly going to Arsenal.
Not sure what to make of it.

"
the sell-on clause seemingly remains in place and any fee over £15m will reportedly see Villa pay 20 per cent towards City. Due to the sell-on clause, Villa are instead pushing for closer to £30m as the transfer deadline nears.

Villa hold a weaker position in negotiations due to Luiz entering the final 12 months of his current contract. They risk losing him for nothing next summer, but Luiz has also been an integral part of Steven Gerrard's squad."
