Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

Can someone explain this to me Richarlason scored for spurs was offside but during the celebrations was booked for taking shirt off if he hadn’t of scored he wouldn’t have been booked obviously so why wasn’t the card ruled out ..
Because he still took his shirt off.

What a terrible world it has become that I would wish Arsenal's loss at their hands.

Nah, will never ever want United to win. Hope Arsenal tears them a new one.
Not sure I'd go as far as to say "never". If we needed them to beat, say, Chelsea on the last day of the season to help us win the league, I'd put my hatred to one side for a couple of hours. I love City more than I hate utd.

"almost never", I can live with!

It’s about protecting the product and ensuring the competition goes as long into the season as they can possibly make it.
Absolutely. I’m not even sure it’s about stopping City any more, as much as increasing the ‘entertainment’ value by keeping it close - not very entertaining if City are winning by 10-20 points every season.

There’s a decent documentary on Netflix at the moment about match fixing in the NBA. A referee was made the patsy for the whole debacle of course, but the way that league was managed by the hierarchy, the way referees were appointed and the type of people who were appointed to important positions (very much company men), and the kowtowing to TV has striking parallels with the way top level football is run. Just because bribes aren’t taken doesn’t mean cheating isn’t going on.

Only 2 teams running away with it doesn’t hurt revenues and would be allowed and celebrated.

Not rocket science to work them out.

not really bothered as they aren’t relevant the rags that is,although I honestly can see them winning today, arsenal still have a complex about playing there ..
